MELISSA RUMMEL is Development Director for The Nichols Partnership.
Melissa found her path to real estate development in 2008 by way of real estate brokerage, urban planning and a love for infill placemaking. Melissa joined Nichols Partnership in 2013, bringing public and private experience across all facets of development and urban planning. While at Nichols Partnership, Melissa has managed 1M square feet of new construction and adaptive reuse office and multi-family projects. She is active in Denver’s real estate community at large, having served on several Denver CPD task forces and was an appointed member of Denver’s Downtown Design Advisory Board from 2019-2021.
Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado in Denver and a dual-Bachelor’s degree in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She is a LEED AP and has maintained an active real estate brokerage license for the past fifteen years.
